The company

The company specialise in manufacturing quality food products for many of the UK's retailers, food service and B2B customers.

To continue to build upon their sustainability vision they seek to recruit a hardworking, positive, and enquiring individual who will challenge the norm to continually improve. 

The role

Reporting into the Engineering Manager and managing a team of 10, you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s production lines and machinery. Ensuring that all work undertaken is carried out to the standard required and that all appropriate safety legislation is observed and reports any potentially unsafe working methods, installations or equipment. Maintaining and repairing physical structures and utility systems of buildings and maintaining grounds utilising the company preventative maintenance software systems.

The person

Our ideal candidate will either be an experienced maintenance manager or an ambitious engineer looking for that first step into management.
You will have an electrical and mechanical background, strong communication skills as well as strong numeracy and literacy skills, experience within an FMCG environment and will ideally electrically bias.
