DESIGNER | MENS FASHION | MULTI PRODUCT | SOUTH WEST | £30,000 - £40,000 + BENEFITS
Join our dynamic design team and take your career to the next level. We're seeking a talented Designer to help shape the future of our menswear collection.
AS THE MENSWEAR DESIGNER
- You'll set out to work collaboratively with your wider design team, whilst forming a strong partnership to your buyers
- You''ll proactively research new trends
- Naturally you will have an inquisitive eye on the market, staying on top of the competition
- Strong ability to "move on" best sellers, protecting what you know your customer loves
- Introduce and execute exciting new product along with your buying counterpart
- Experience with building and designing strong ranges by category
- Executing clear tech packs with your designs to the supply base
- Strong communication & annotation ability to ensure first sample is the right sample when working with your suppliers
- Proactively look to build and maximise your relationship with new & existing suppliers
- Look to source new fabrics and trims throughout every season
- Research & secure new emerging trends by regularly conducting competitor and newness shops
- Take the time to understand trade data and work into actions from weekly meetings with your buying team
- Work to a clear option count for upcoming ranges with your buyer and merch
- Support in fit sessions where possible & if required
DESIGNER REQUIREMENTS:
- Have minimum 2+ years experience within apparel
- Wovens & Jersey experience desired
- Ability to use Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign
