Revenue Systems Lead

Public Sector Partnership Services is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join our busy and established Revenues and Benefits service

In this exciting new role you will join the service leadership team as the Systems and Performance Team Leader and be responsible for the day to day management of a team of highly motivated and dedicated officers specialising in crucial functions across Systems & Control, Training, and Data and Performance analysis.

The Revenues and Benefits service is responsible for the professional, timely and accurate billing, collection, recovery and enforcement of monies due, along with the processing and payment of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support on behalf of our clients.

You will play a pivotal role in aligning and transforming our service, expanding digital options for our customers, and driving continuous performance improvements across our teams.

As The Systems and Performance Team Leader you will:

  • Be able to identify opportunities to maximise performance, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Have experience in managing a multi-disciplined team. Local authority experience is advantageous but not essential 
  • Be experienced in the daily management or supervision of staff 
  • Have experience in delivering successful change and/or transformation 
  • Be able to lead and motivate your team 
  • Possess good IT skills 
  • A knowledge of Revenues and Benefits core processing systems is advantageous but not essential

The Revenues and Benefits service has main offices in Boston, Horncastle and Spalding so whilst this post is based at Horncastle, occasional travel between locations will be required.
