We’re working with an outstanding regional business to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who can take a lead on some upcoming marine projects. 

The business has a great presence on the South Coast with projects from Dover to Plymouth working with local authorities, private clients at various ports, Environment Agency and Coastal Partners. They have demonstrated their capabilities on marine projects up to £30m!

The wider business has an excellent reputation in Hampshire securing work on the Hampshire GEN5 framework as well as the esteemed AMP8 on the horizon. In a marine environment their expertise include mooring dolphins, berth extensions, collision dolphins, reinforced concrete sea walls, revetment works and some aesthetic footbridges and walkways.

Duties will include:

  • Working with the project team to record costs, change and variation 
  • Minimise cost and risk of the project and enhance value for money
  • Provide commercial support to the engineering staff on site and carry out measures
  • Manage costs and budget in line with the NEC contract
