Groomfield recruitment are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and using various power and hand tools to assemble and fabricate metal components. This position requires mechanical knowledge, the ability to read blueprints, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Salary- £12.47
Hours- Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am- 12pm
Responsibilities:
- - Perform MIG welding on various metal components
- - Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements
- - Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
- - Inspect welded structures to ensure they meet quality standards
- - Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role
- Proficiency in Stick welding techniques
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
- Strong mechanical knowledge for fabricating and assembling metal parts
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with sheet metal work is a plus
