Registered Manager - Children's Residential

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum
Job Description: Job Duties:- Ensure the effective day-to-day management of a children's residential home
- Oversee and monitor the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people
- Manage and support a team of staff, providing guidance and leadership
- Develop and implement care plans in line with regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards
- Work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals to ensure the well-being of residents
- Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Registered with the relevant regulatory body (e.g., Ofsted)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar managerial role within children's residential care
- EBD experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior role within children's residential care
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle challenging situations
- Additional training in safeguarding, risk assessment, and therapeutic approaches
- Experience working with children and young people with complex needs
- Regular office hours with occasional evening and weekend work required
- Work primarily based within the children's residential home setting
- May involve some travel for meetings, training, or networking events
