SANZA Teaching agency are currently seeking a teaching assistant for a bustling 2-from entry school in Ealing (Acton).

The school are either looking for experienced teaching assistants, or university graduates who are considering a career as a teacher, educational psychologist, or something similar, looking for practical experience before taking the next steps.

This is a full-time long-term position to start on September 2nd 2024 on a 1-year contract, with opportunity for extension.

The role:

• Assist the classroom teacher with the day-to-day delivery of lessons
• Assistant in delivery of the National Curriculum
• Implement personalised programmes with individual students / groups in or outside lesson
• Assist in planning lessons and resources for a particular subject area
• Working with small groups of students
• Working 1:1 with students as required

The ideal candidate:

• Will either be an experienced teaching assistant, or recent university graduate who is considering a career in education or soemthing similar, looking for school-based role
• Strong behaviour management
• Be able to facilitate 1:1 and small group work
• Have a professional manor
• Enthusiasm and friendly approach
• To be fun and creative
• Flexible, adaptable and eager to get involved with all aspects of school life!
