Overview -

Integrate fully automated inspection equipment into existing manufacturing machinery.

Automation Engineer

• Liaise with the operations team and the chosen contractor to understand requirements.
• Develop, integrate, commission, and maintain new automated processes and equipment.
• Analyse PLC hardware and software to ensure optimal system performance.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for future reference.
• Conduct system testing and validation to guarantee functionality, safety, and efficiency.
• Provide training to internal teams and manage planned maintenance / service.

Automation Engineer desirable skills and experience -

• Experience with industrial automation equipment - sensors, cameras, and communication protocols.
• Experience integrating new equipment with existing machinery.
• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical issues.
• Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or relevant training.
