GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant for Physical Education (PE) to join our team in Ashington. The Role:

As an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant for PE, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality physical education lessons and promoting a culture of health and fitness in the school. You will work alongside teachers to develop and implement engaging PE programs that cater to the needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, delivering, and assessing PE lessons that inspire and engage students.
• Lead small groups and whole-class activities, ensuring all students participate and benefit from the lessons.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment where students feel encouraged to be active and improve their physical skills.
• Support the development of students' social and teamwork skills through various sports and physical activities.
• Help monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to reports.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, specifically in Physical Education.
• A passion for promoting physical health and an active lifestyle among young people.
• Strong understanding of the PE curriculum and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Relevant qualifications in Physical Education or a related field are highly desirable.
