The role

Are you an experienced cover supervisor? Join our successful supply team to work in a client school in Boston.

The desired cover supervisor will cover pre-planned lesson and supervise whole classes during absence of a teacher. The role of cover supervisor involves giving instructions for lessons provided by the teacher, and maintaining good behaviour while keeping the students engaged.

It is essential that the appointed cover supervisor is calm and patient with pupils, has the ability to work within a team environment and has a positive ‘can do’ approach.

Requirements
To be considered for the position of Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Have a willingness to learn.
• A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils.
• Be a natural leader and someone with confidence to lead a lesson in the absence of the class teacher.
• Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service
