Company – Vehicle Service of company vehicle commercial fleets - vans, lorry's, trucks, buses, coaches, HGV, construction, civil road working e.g. diggers and agricultural e.g. tractors.

Location – Oxfordshire 

Role – Servicing all types of vehicles of company fleets whether commercial road or heavy equipment non road.

Candidate – Auto Mechanical and Electrical background (any)

The Position

A commercial fleet specialist servicing provider seeks an additional Vehicle Technician to join their ever-expanding team. You will service and maintain a variety of automotive vehicle fleets including but not limited to cars, vans, trucks, lorry’s, public sector buses, refuse, coaches, construction, civil works vehicles and agricultural tractors. You will receive extensive inhouse training to work on specific vehicle types you may not be familiar with.

The Package

  • £30k - £35k salary (depending on experience) 
  • Bonus up to £2k
  • Overtime
  • Generous holiday allowance + bank holidays

Experience Required

  • Hands on Automotive Engineering
  • Mechanical and Electrical 
  • You will have some form of vehicle mechanic background whether road licenced and qualified e.g. road car servicing & MOT or non road heavy equipment e.g. commercial such as construction vehicles, civil works vehicles, roadside vehicles, agriculture and military vehicles.

The Company

They are a regional specialist provider of commercial vehicle fleet servicing dealing with companies rather that the public. Their have a large team of specialist vehicle technicians who come from a wide range of auto mechanical and electrical backgrounds such as, as automotive mechanics, agricultural mechanics, forklift engineers, mechanical engineers from the armed forces e.g. tanks and trucks, HGV engineers, buses and coaches, and civil works / road working vehicles e.g. loaders, excavators, telescopic handlers and dumpers. All Vehicle Technicians are mechanical and electrical  automotive engineers who are adaptable and capable of working on a variety of vehicle platforms. Due to the nature of the wide range of vehicles being serviced, they offer their own in house extensive training.
