We are seeking a skilled Car Mechanic to join our client's team in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This role is ideal for a dedicated technician who is capable of evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical issues in vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, carrying out repairs, and conducting complex diagnostic procedures.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Evaluate and diagnose mechanical issues in vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and carry out repairs.
  • Conduct complex diagnostic procedures to identify problems within the engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, and other components.
  • Inspect vehicles and perform safety checks to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Replace parts as needed and ensure that all repairs meet quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a level 2 or level 3 technician.
  • MOT certification is advantageous but not essential.
  • A valid UK Driving License is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality service and workmanship.
