Job Title: Project Manager - Domestic Housing Groundworks

Location: Basingstoke, UK


Salary: £75,000 per annum
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning and design to execution and completion.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other legal requirements.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, specifically in domestic housing groundworks, roads, and sewers.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage project teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
