Teaching Assistant

Are you a Level 2/3 qualified teaching assistant looking for a challenge within a Nursery/primary school in Teesside, Darlington, Durham, Bishop Aukland or Newton Aycliffe?

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team, working alongside the class teacher to support children. This role involves offering additional support and guidance to students who may need it, helping them to thrive and succeed.

Key responsibilities:

· Provide support to students on a 1:1 basis and in group settings.

· Assist the class teacher with daily duties and classroom management.

· Assess student progress and development and liase with teacher and parents to ensure effective communication.

· Help to implement educational plans and strategies tailored to individual student’s needs.

· Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

· L2, L3, L4 qualification in Teaching Assistance or equivalent.

· Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

· Previous experience as a teaching assistant or a similar role is desirable.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
