Posts Service Leader
Rate of Pay: £15.50 per hour
Hours of Work: Full time/permanent 40 hours a week Monday-Sunday

The role
- To take full responsibility for the effective daily operation of the service.
- To support the staff team & ensure they given every opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills & understanding through training & mentoring
- To work as directed by the Operational Manager & Area Manager in the daily running & management of the service.
- To ensure all policies, procedures, & guidelines for the support of the individual are followed.
- To carry out staff supervision, mentoring, team meetings & appraisals. Authorise annual leave & monitor sickness and training needs.
- To ensuring all risk assessments & support plans are within date & reviewed regularly.
- To ensure affective communicate with all other parties that may be involved, including Care Managers, health care professionals & families.
- To be part of the interview process for new staff members & ensure new staff are mentored & receive a full induction into the organisation.
- To promote the company's values and beliefs
- To complete staff rotas and timesheets. Complete monthly payroll report.
- Manage finances within the service, for service petty cash & the individual being supported.
- To ensure that they & their team fully adhere to Orbis Support’s medication policy.
- To ensure the supported person has an up-to-date Person-Centred Plan (PCP)
- To be part of the on-call system. To be on stand-by & available to cover services when needed, take calls to offer advice & support
- To manage the environment & ensure that Health & Safety provision of the service is compliant.
- To ensure that the service complies with the Care Quality Commission regulations.
- The post holder may be required to carry out additional duties as directed by Orbis Support. The post holder will have and/or be willing to work towards an appropriate qualification.
