CNC Setter/Operator:

Working mainly with wood, producing some beautiful pieces and using some of the most up to date machinery to produce them. From point of sale display units to furniture there is no job to big or to small for us! 

Salary and benefits for a CNC Setter/Operator:

• £24,000 - £31,000
• Pension contribution
• On-site parking
• Overtime available

Specific Role & Responsibilities for a CNC Setter/Operator:

• Operate a variety of 3 axis CNC routers.
• Setting CNC Routers.
• Some use of manual tooling work (drilling, boring, sanding etc)
• Assist in preparing components for delivery.
• Check parts and ensure they are up to specification and meet tolerance levels. 
• Assist colleagues if needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements for a CNC Setter/Operator:

• Preferred to have an Apprenticeship/HND in engineering related environments. 

Required Skills for a CNC Setter/Operator:

• Able to set/operate CNC machines for production of mainly wooden components (materials can vary) 
• Read and interpret drawings.
• Assist with routine maintenance on CNC machines.
• Measure and ensure parts are up to specification and meet tolerance. 
• Uphold health and safety standards set by the company. 
• Using panel saws, resaw, four-sided planer etc.
