Our client is looking for a dedicated Soft Services Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee the cleaning and security teams on a Total Facilities Management (TFM) contract.
Job Description
As Assistant Facilities Manager, you will ensure all reactive and planned duties are efficiently carried out by a combination of staff and specialist sub-contracted teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for the welfare, direct management, and administrative processes related to service delivery and compliance within your team.
Additionally, you will provide support to the Facilities Manager across the wider portfolio as needed, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Collation & administration of timesheets on a weekly basis
- Checking for errors and reporting to line management
- Creation and submission of chargeable works – obtaining correct levels of authorisation and approvals as well as following process
- Management of said works through to successful completion
- Liaise with both buying & invoices teams
- Manage the day to day soft service delivery within the region
- Liaise with soft service operatives on daily requirements, issues, requests etc
- Ensure ongoing training is being carried out and correct methods are being used, including Health and Safety
- Develop and maintain effective communication with the client
- Ensure day-to-day Health and Safety regulations are being adhered to and all notices are displayed on the notice board
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Experience in the cleaning sector and managing over a team
- Ideally be able to use various different Microsoft Programmes
- No formal qualifications but experience is key
