Job Outline:

My Client, who is an award-winning designer, and manufacturer of specialist products for the automotive, aerospace, defence and nuclear industry, is now seeking an International Operations Manager.

Based at my clients UK based Head Office in Torbay, you will take responsibility for my clients remote manufacturing facility based in Morocco.

Potential candidates should be comfortable with travelling as and when required.

Serving as a member of the Senior Management Team, you will provide international operational support to the company, across all aspects of manufacturing.

The specific duties include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance, along with mentoring and supporting your team members.

Your responsibilities will include analysing, controlling and improving all operational aspects of manufacturing in terms of personnel, equipment, subcontracts, procurement, training, etc.

Working closely with the team in Morocco, you will find ways to increase quality of production and implement best practices across all levels.  

This is a hands-on role, suitable for candidates who have a proactive approach to solving engineering challenges’

The successful candidate will have a background in manufacturing.

Fluency in French is desirable, but not essential

Experience:

Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar manufacturing role.
