Your new role

• You will working as an experienced Project Manager to supervise projects in order to meet the organisation's objectives and for projects to be delivered on time and within budget.
• You will be responsible for full project lifecycle management and working alongside the PMO and procurement team.
• You will be creating project plans, assigning project tasks, updating on project status and creating project reports.
• You will be attending stakeholder meetings and senior leadership meetings to update on the project timeline.

Your new company
You will be working for a not-for-profit organisation located in the heart of Liverpool. They are striving to improve Merseyside's diversity and equality, education, housing and the homelessness situation. They are growing as an organisation and are busy recruiting both on the temporary and permanent side with such projects as systems implementations, cloud migrations and new target operating model development.

What you'll need to succeed

• Years of experience working as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or a Programme Manager,
• Strong commercial acumen and previous exposure to procurement processes,
• Skills in project budgeting and financial management, governance, controls and stakeholder management,
• Background working for a council with knowledge of such sectors as digital, public transport, culture and housing.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a 3-month contract inside IR35 working via an umbrella company. This role will be very rewarding as the projects you will be managing will have a direct impact on the people of Merseyside. This role will offer hybrid working with 3 - 4 days working in the office in Liverpool City Centre (meetings dependant, etc.).
