We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Room Leader to join a passionate team at a fabulous setting in the Bracknell area. They are committed to delivering high-quality early years education in a nurturing and stimulating environment, ensuring they have the foundation to thrive.

Close to transport links, this is a spacious, character setting, has a large garden for outdoor activities including sensory gardens and a mud kitchen. There is lots for the children to get involved with from taking care of the nursery pets, and helping them learn to protect the environment and wildlife.

You will set the tone for the team in the room, and lead by example in everything you do. As Nursery Room Leader, you’ll help your team achieve their potential in their roles as they help every child achieve theirs. You will be team player with a passion for coaching and mentoring, who can ensure that each child is nurtured by igniting their imaginations, encouraging them to think creatively, and making the most of their time in nursery.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement educational activities that adhere to the EYFS framework
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment for the children
  • Share progress and insights with parents and carers
  • Develop strong, supportive relationships with children and their families
  • Promote high standards of quality in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
  • Embed and support others in delivering, the curriculum and learning experiences
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Hold a Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare
  • Have previous experience of working in a nursery or early years environment
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Have a passion for working with young children and supporting their development
  • Ability to engage with children in a positive and nurturing manner
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Ability to work closely with other team members to foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere
  • Participate in professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge
