M&E Project Manager

This opportunity is with an established M&E contractor who hold a very good reputation within the construction industry. They specialise in the educational sector and have just secured two new projects in the Northern Home Counties. They are now in the market to see if they can find an experienced Project Manager that has a background in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering.



Responsibilities for a M&E Project Manager

This role will be for an individual to lead and manage the MEP team, including engineers, design managers and sub-contractors on site.

Ensure all MEP installations meet the quality standards for the client.

You will also be responsible for overseeing the procurement of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring timely availability of necessary resources.

Overseeing commissioning of MEP systems to ensure they are fully operational and will then need to manage handover process.



Requirements for a M&E Project Manager

A formal qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering/ or a strong trade background followed up with experience as a Project Manager.

Experience with leading a team and managing a project from cradle to grave in excess MEP value of £6m.

Preferred experience managing schools or universities
