We are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to join our client's flagship site in Staveley, Derbyshire. The client are well known organisation within renewable energy, with an established UK portfolio of sites and rich client base, supported by an extensive logistics network.

This site in Staveley is home to critical business functions, from warehouse distribution to technical maintenance of gas equipment, representing a varied level of H&S risk. The site is also used by senior management.

To assess and manage the risk present, they are looking to hire this H&S Advisor who will act as the cultural focal point for all things safety related, working across all areas of site and forging affective relationships with stakeholders, from warehouse staff to company leaders.

Your jib is to champion H&S culture and to ensure staff return home safe at the end of the working day

This is a fantastic role for a developing H&S professional to develop in a challenging site with a range of activities, representing different H&S problems.

Actions will include:

• Maintain the HSEQ management system
• Craft affective relationships with a range of on site stakeholders
• Complete accident investigations and risk assessments across site, from teh warehouse, to equipment maintenance centre
• Champion H&S culture and link up with regional HSEQ staff to ensure consistency in approach
• Deliver training sessions

We need from you:

• Nebosh General with some H&S experience ideally within a more industrial type of environment
