SEN Teacher – SEPTEMBER START

Location: Birmingham   

Duration: Ongoing, Full-time

Salary: £160 - £180 per day

The School/Role:

We are currently partnering with a highly regarded school in the Birmingham area, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN teacher for a full-time position. This school is focused on providing quality education to students with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs. The institution is equipped with specialised resources and facilities designed to meet the unique educational requirements of its students.

Key Duties

  • Individualised Support: Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, including 1:1 assistance and small group interventions.
  • Classroom Assistance: Assist teachers in delivering lessons, adapting materials, and implementing strategies to support student learning.
  • Behaviour Support: Support positive behaviour management strategies, fostering a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Personalised Learning: Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCO to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and external professionals regarding student progress and support needs.
