Salary Up to £28k pro rata

Based in Alfreton

LAB. are working with well-established client within the construction and waste removal sector to support them on their search for a Bookkeeper to join their fun, social and friendly team.

An ideal candidate would be someone with personality, who can easily integrate themselves into a close team, can have a laugh but also has a strong work ethic, is on the ball and has a keen eye for detail.

A background in waste management or construction would be desirable but not essential! However, you MUST be versed in Sage 50 to hit the ground running.

The day to day -

• Daily bookkeeping
• Posting purchase invoices and sales invoices
• Preparing VAT Returns
• Recording purchases, sales, receipts, and payments accurately
• Matching bank transactions to various software
• Filing documents in a timely manner
• Generating financial reports
• Dealing with general day to day bookkeeping queries
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Setting up of New Supplier/Customer Accounts

You –

• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Use of MS packages - Confident working with spreadsheets/Excel
• Sage 50 experience is essential
• Experience working as a Bookkeeper
• Driven and self-motivated
• Willingness to work some extra hours in peak times – prior notice given

• Working hours are flexible based around 20-30 hours per week - Hours are flex over 3-5 days.
• On site parking
• Holiday is 21 +Bank Holidays
• Full Christmas shutdown
