About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a primary school in NN14. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, focusing on Key Stage 1. The role involves providing essential support to teachers and implementing interventions to enhance the learning experience for our students.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with class teachers to plan and deliver effective interventions for Key Stage 1 students.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, addressing individual learning needs.
• Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Foster a love for learning and encourage student engagement.
• Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to the overall progress of students.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant, preferably in a Key Stage 1 setting.
• Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
