Our client utilises the latest cloud-based accounting software. Partnered with industry leaders such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Receipt Bot to name but a few, bringing to you the best possible integrated cloud-based bookkeeping and accounting solution.

We are looking for an experience Accountant who can communicate well with perfect command of good English and ability to formulate professional communication both verbally and written, at all levels as well as be able to explain complex technical matters in a confident and articulate manner. You must be able to work under pressure and be able to follow instructions and the companies procedures in a professional manner.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our practice team. The ideal candidate will oversee the existing team of more junior accountants and bookkeepers by reviewing financial tasks and ensuring accuracy in financial records.

This is a part time role on 3 days per week.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist in accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing

- Utilize accounting software such as TaxFiler, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks to maintain financial records

- Support financial services by preparing reports, budgets, and financial statements

- Collaborate with senior accountants to handle financial accounting tasks

- Provide mentoring to junior staff members in accounting principles and practices

- Facilitate and monitor the workflow pipeline.

- Drive the resolution of technical cases and see them to completion

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in bookkeeping, self-assessment tax returns, sole trader accounts, partnership accounts, company accounts and other tasks typically undertaken in a growing accounting practice.

- Experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks

- Strong knowledge of financial services and principles

- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members in accounting practices

- Familiarity with financial management processes

- Minimum AAT full membership. ACCA / ACA full membership preferred is essential.

- Extensive Prior practice experience is a must.

- Perfect command of good English and ability to formulate professional communication both verbal and written, as well as be able to explain complex technical matters in a confident and articulate manner.
