Manufacturing business based in West Bromwich are looking to expand their leadership team by hiring a General Manger to work alongside the Managing Director. Your role is to facilitate the day to day running of the business, liaising internally with production and other departments to ensure customer orders are delivered on schedule. Also, dealing with customers on commercial aspects to continue building strong relationships for future business.

The company operate a foundry on site, and you will work closely with the Production Manager to deliver high precision certified ingots to a wide range of industries. Working with the Directors in the business on commercial opportunities to further grow and expand the business with strategic plans and objectives, attracting new clients both within the UK and internationally. You will manage budgets in line with company goals and objectives and provide a solution driven approach.

The ideal candidate for the General Manager role includes:

• Experience in a similar industry such as Production, Manufacturing or Engineering.
• Strong overall management skills.
• Commercially biased with experience in customer acquisition.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop others.
• Solutions driven in mindset.

Package is circa £50-60,000 plus bonus, 4 day working week and other benefits.
