Electrical Technician - Monday to Friday

Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from Electrical Technicians interested in a full time, permanent position as an EC&I Technician in Milton Keynes. This is role will be working on a Monday to Friday basis on a rotating weekly shift:

• Week 1: 6am - 2pm.
• Week 2: 8am - 4pm.
• Week 3: 10am - 6pm.

Role Responsibilities

• Serve as an Electrical duty holder for the site.
• Ensure electrical assets comply with appropriate Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental standards, policies and procedures.
• Assist in delivering the Operations & Maintenance Teams electrical KPI's.
• Implement and test software modules and systems.
• Conduct fault finding and investigations.
• Develop and implement engineering procedures, instructions, method statements and guidance documents.
• Complete accurate maintenance reporting within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Assist in identifying the failure modes for all apparatus.

Skills and Experience

• Experience of electrical installation systems related to Industrial premises.
• High Voltage experience (desirable).
• Practical and proven understanding of Health & Safety associated with electrical engineering through construction, operation, inspection and maintenance.
• Ability to provide technically sound design solutions including all associated reporting and cost estimating.
• Computer literate and able to operate Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Power Point and MS.

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering or equivalent (essential).
