Mainstay Recruitment are currently looking for a Building Fabric Engineer to join our growing client covering sites across East Midlands. If you are a fabric engineer and have experience in maintaining fabric works such as Joinery, Carpentry, Plumbing, basic electrics, patch plastering, and painting and are looking for a company that will support your career and development then look no further.
The role
- Covering Fabric maintenance tasks across commercial properties across Nottingham and Derby.
- Covering Plumbing, Carpentry, Door fixing, Tiling, Painting, and maintenance.
- g Pre-planned and Reactive work
- Assist in project planning, estimation, and stock control
- Assist other trades such as Electrical and mechanical departments
- Ensure that all jobs are completed to a high standard within the given time frame.
- Responsible for ensuring Health and safety when completing all jobs.
- Fabric Qualifications such as Carpentry, Plumbing, Joinery Desirable
- Previous experience within a similar environment an advantage with FM service provider background
- Strong work ethic and desire to progress and build on existing experience.
- Must be able to work on their own to complete tasks.
- Excellent customer-facing skills.
- Good communication both verbal and written.
- Full UK drivers’ license
