End date: Friday 20th December (possibility to extend)

Subject: DT at KS3 & KS4

Timetable: Full Time

Pay: £150 to £250 a day


We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school based close to Walsall and Wolverhampton who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed DT Teacher to start in the new academic year. This is a full-time position until December initially, with the possibility to extend. To be successful, you will be a DT teacher with recent experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4. Experience of teaching resistant materials is essential.
Job Description

  • Delivering engaging and creative Design and Technology lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
  • Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.


Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Recent experience teaching DT lessons at secondary school level within the UK
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
