QC Inspector
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude to ensure the integrity and compliance of our products. The ideal candidate will have experience in the inspection of electrical/mechanical products within an Oil and Gas/Petro-Chemical/ Pharmaceutical environment and be familiar with industry standards.
Day to Day of the role:
- Conduct dimensional inspections to design drawings for form, fit, and function using various measuring tools.
- Perform electrical circuit resistance tests, coating thickness and condition checks, and Positive Material Identification (PMI).
- Review material and work test reports for traceability and compliance with order specifications.
- Communicate with external providers regarding product rejections and corrective actions.
- Inspect and verify parts against orders, conduct visual and electrical testing of spares orders, and process them for dispatch.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, both hard and soft copies.
- Liaise with Engineers, Production Supervisors, and production staff to resolve any issues with heater bundles, pressure vessels, and control panels.
- Support and train new staff as required.
- Work in accordance with Quality and Health & Safety Management systems meeting the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001.
- Undertake additional tasks as part of the Quality Control team and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and internal policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and pressured workshop environment.
- Organised, independent, and systematic approach to work.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Good computer literacy.
- Experience with hazardous area and high-pressure equipment manufacture.
- Knowledge of inspection of electrical/mechanical products within relevant industries.
- Proficiency in using standard measuring equipment and reading engineering drawings.
- Understanding of ATEX, PD5500, and related standards.
