Our client is part of a prestigious global engineering group and are considered as the market leader. Specifically, they design, develop and manufacture bespoke equipment and automation for the automotive and aerospace industry (please contact JMT for more detail).

Role Summary

You will have overall responsibility and accountability for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality. This role guarantees that the products or services of the company meet the highest quality standards, customers' expectations and that the working conditions of the company are safe and sustainable.

This role sits within the senior management team and is expected to contribute to the strategic and operational management and direction of the company in pursuit of the company goals.

Experience / Background Required:

  • Degree/HNC/HND in Engineering - NEBOSH
  • Proven ability (circa 5 years' experience) as a Snr Quality Engineer within automotive, aerospace industry or similar.
  • Knowledge of 16949, IATF, AS9100 or a similar standard
  • Line management experience .
  • Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing
  • Proven ability of compliance management in an automotive environment
  • Strategic thinking and approach
