Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Northampton
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Brook Street is partnering with a well-established local company in Northampton to recruit an experienced Credit Controller within the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit checks on new clients
- Raise invoices and credit notes
- Prepare end-of-month (EOM) statements
- Liaise with clients regarding payments
- Perform EOM reconciliation
- Manage company expenses
- Handle monthly mileage claims
- Process weekly payroll and update ledger
Requirements:
- Proficiency in SAGE 50
- Previous experience in accounts within the construction industry
- Strong initiative and willingness to learn
- Ability to work under pressure
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
