The Junior Merchandiser Support the B&M team to optimise sales and profit through accurate stock management, planning, and analysis. Reporting to the Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

Plan the Season:

• Collaborate with the buying team to build a strategy that optimises sales and profitability.
• Develop a balanced, customer-focused range.
• Plan and trade the department from top line to line cards

Trade the Department:

• Manage and trade the department across KPIs to maximise sales and profit.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly analysis and act on results.
• Present in trade, strategy, and sign-off meetings.
• Manage WSSI weekly and make trading decisions.
• React to in-season performance to maximise OTB potential.
• Monitor competitor activity and its impact.
• Collaborate with the Retail team to maximise branch-level sales.

Online:

• Drive sales on internal and external websites, meeting sales targets.
• Use web analytics to improve conversion, AOV, and page views.
• Maintain relationships with online partners.
