The Role / Mission

You'll work as a Full Stack Developer on an upgrade to .NET 7/8 and a migration into React on the frontend. You don't need commercial experience in React specifically - Angular or Vue is fine! You'll work as part of a team of around 5 people where you'll be expected to support and mentor other junior developers.

Learning is high on their agenda and there are plenty of progression / learning opportunities but they understand that this pathway should be bespoke to the person so you can set your goals and progression plan with your Manager to ensure you're getting the best from the business.

The Team

  • There are multiple development teams covering varied products of the business, but everyone has one shared goal which is to leave the ego at the door and be continuously improving!
  • You'll get the chance to collaborate with the wider product management team where you'll give you input on requirements, have your say on areas such as user experience and architectures.
  • You'll report into the Software Development Manager however there will be other Mid Level and Lead Developers in this team that you'll work with on a day to day basis.

Technical Requirements

  • Commercial experience working on solutions using .Net Core and React or Angular, is essential.
  • Javascript, CSS & HTML.
  • It's important that you're comfortable with both the backend and the frontend as you'll be writing code from scratch and you'll be someone junior's will lean on for advice and some light mentoring.
  • Strong SQL Server skills
  • You should be comfortable to work both independently and with a team, showcasing ideas and following best code practice.
  • Naturally technical experience is important as it is for any software development role you will not be hired in isolation of your tech skills. Drive, ambition and a good attitude are qualities that hold value.

Working benefits

  • Annual pay reviews / increases
  • 5% Pension
