A distinguished multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Principal Designer to join their dynamic team in Nottingham.
This medium-sized consultancy is renowned for delivering top-tier services across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and public projects.
The successful Principal Designer will
- Provide expert advice on health and safety during the design phases of projects.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and design reviews.
- Ensure compliance with the CDM 2015 regulations.
- Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Prepare and manage pre-construction information and health and safety files.
- Facilitate and lead design workshops and safety briefings.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Principal Designer role.
- Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations.
- Proven experience in design risk management.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Membership with IOSH or APS preferred.
