Early Years Practitioner (with SEN Support)

September 2024 start

Full-time/Permanent position

NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position for a Primary School located in South Leeds (LS11) for a September 2024 start.

The role is based in a Primary School with responsibilities including:

  • Providing 1-1 support to Neurodiverse children with Autism, ADHD, MLD and Global delay in early years
  • Supporting children with academic learning and well-being both in and out of classroom
  • Required for lunch duty
  • Providing feedback to class teacher and parents
  • Managing behaviour, supporting children at all times, and providing intervention when required

Successful Applications Will Have

  • ASC experience (personal experience will be considered)
  • Experience working with Nursery/ Reception Children
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability for a permanent position
  • L2 Safeguarding Qualification (or willingness to complete one)
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
