Osborne Appointments are recruiting for Warehouse Operative for our client, an electrical company based in Luton, on a temporary to permanent basis.

Hours of a Warehouse Operative: Monday – Friday 8am till 4.30pm

Pay rate: £11.79 per hour to be reviewed after 12 weeks

• Dispatching of products either by courier or pallets distributed in the UK & abroad
• Picking & packing goods from dispatch notes
• Weigh out products using weighing/counting scales to ensure accurate quantities are despatched
• Working in a safe & responsible manner when handling weights of boxes
• Undertake Folk Lift courses
• Arranging recycling and general waste disposal as and when required
• Ensuring timescales are reached with priority dispatches
• Print of dispatch notes and ensure orders are dispatched in the correct order
• Stock cleansing of products that haven’t moved for periods of time
• Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Any ad-hoc duties given by the Sales Office Manage

Skills required for Warehouse Operative;

• Previous warehouse experience
• Quick learner
• Forklift licence (Reach Truck) would be an advantage
• Logically minded and able to pick up part number detail easily
• GCSE’s, Grades C & above or equivalent
• Hardworking, keen to learn and take on additional duties
