National Business Development Manager - Tile Adhesive

Job Title: National Business Development Manager – Tile Adhesive & Grout and Floor Screeds

Industry Sector: Tile Adhesive, Grout, Floor Screeds, Waterproofing, Sheds, Distribution, Main Contractors, Housebuilders, Buying Groups, Tile Retail Showrooms and Tile Stockists

Area to be covered: National – based centrally (ideally between the M62 of M4 Corridors)

Remuneration: £60,000 Neg. + £24,000 Uncapped Bonus

The role of the National Business Development Manager Tile Adhesive will involve:

• National field sales role, you will be responsible for helping our client enter the UK tile adhesives market
• Promoting a manufactured range of tile adhesives, grouts, floor screeds and waterproofing products
• Developing multiple customer channels including sheds/ distributors, main contractors, housebuilders and buying groups
• Initially selling the imported range of tile adhesives, although a purpose built UK factory is expected to be completed in the next 2-3 years
• Building brand awareness and helping our client understand where they sit within the UK market
• Having a clear vision in respect of how to successfully build a network of UK customers
• A role which will develop into a senior management position which will involve managing a team of up to 12 field sales professionals in the next 3 years
• Having an understanding of how to successfully market what is already a leading European brand from a UK perspective

The ideal applicant will be a National Business Development Manager Tile Adhesive with:

• Must come from the tile adhesive industry
• Would suit a regional sales person looking for a national role with scope to move into sales management
• Hunger for field sales and keen to develop skills within the sector
• Ability to develop into a senior management role
• Capable of leading and developing a sales team in the future
• Hungry new business attitude

• Ability to sell a less well recognised brand
• Ideally with varied customer including sheds/ distributors, main contractors, housebuilders and buying groups
• Excellent territory planning capability and comfortable with overnight stays
