JOB OVERVIEW:  To promote and sell the full range of Medical device products

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

1  Sales

1.1  To achieve sales targets as set by the UK Sales Management

1.2  To maintain and increase margins within the given territory

1.3  To increase sales revenues year on year

1.4   To feedback market, hospital and competitor information to the UK Sales Management

1.5   To promote the full product range in all relevant Hospital departments

1.6   To maintain a high knowledge of the product range which will enable you to train Hospital staff in their use

1.7   To actively maintain a positive, enthusiastic approach towards the company and new and existing products.

2  Market Support

2.1   To ensure that a reasonable level of activity is maintained in all hospital accounts particularly where these hospitals have contracts with the company.

2.2   To call regularly and professionally and to maintain sales records as required

2.3   To ensure that items given to customers of a promotional nature are small value gifts only

2.4   To attend all national and regional exhibitions as required, and to comply with the ‘stand management’ schedule

2.5   To work under the direction of the Divisional Sales Manager

2.6   To ensure customer details are updated and regularly submitted to the Company for use in the mailing list

3 Data Control

3.1  To complete on a daily basis field visit reports and complete information as specified in the company manual

 3.2  To submit expense claims on the first working day of the month and to ensure that all duties and functions carried out are within the individual’s territory budget

3.3  To maintain all Company property and equipment i.e. laptop, PDA, mobile phone, car etc

3.4  To ensure that on a daily basis your laptop is synchronized with the main server.

3.5  To be conversant with all I.T. programmes particularly CMS systems as designated by the Company

4 Other Duties

4.1  To attend Sales Meetings as requested by UK Sales Management

4.2  To attend any training course as requested by the Sales and Marketing Manager

4.3  To complete, and maintain all organisational forms

4.4  To carry out any other reasonable task as deemed necessary by the company

TRAINING, QUALITY SYSTEM REGULATION AND HEALTH AND SAFETY: 

1. To ensure you take responsibility for your contribution to compliance with the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS), you must complete all allocated training via the Learning Management System (LMS) within the completion dates given.

2. To monitor your LMS account regularly to check for new or incomplete training.

3. To ensure all external training (including personal and professional development) is recorded in the LMS, and certificates are forwarded to your manager or HR for filing.

4. If you are responsible for delivering Instructor Led Training (ILT) you must ensure each event is added to the LMS and attendance and pass information is recorded after the event has finished.

5. To adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) at all times.

6. To ensure you are aware of your H&S obligations for safe working practices.

7. To follow safe working practices at all times to ensure the safety of yourself, colleagues and visitors.
