£45,000 - £65,000/annum car allowance

Key Requirements of the Role 
- Manage all costs relating to housing projects, from initial calculations to the final figures.
- Minimize project costs and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
- Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
- Advise on a procurement strategy.
- Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
- Allocate work to subcontractors.
- Provide advice on contractual claims.
- Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
- Value completed work and arrange payments.
- Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use.
- Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience 
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying within the housing sector.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, procurement, and commercial management.
- Excellent numerical and financial management skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Full UK driving license.
