Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Salford for a Senior Domestic Abuse Practitioner.

The purpose of this role is to support the Service Manager in a range of critical areas of the domestic abuse service. The service provides long term emotional and practical support and includes community outreach, weekly surgeries, drop-in advice, information and 1:1 support including referral on to specialist agencies.

This is a full time, fixed term contract for 12 months and offers a salary up to £30,000.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Provide Case Management, case management reviews and case audits for a team of seven DA Support Workers in our Standard /medium risk service.
• Provide helpline support to victims/survivors
• Co-ordinate the external partnerships who support victims/survivors within our women’s centre
• Support the Service Manager to upskill staff in relation to data analysis
• Work with the DA Service Manager and Senior Data Analyst to complete quarterly audits and reports for all Safe in Salford Services.

Person Specification

• Significant experience of working in the field of domestic abuse
• Degree in a related field or a minimum qualification of Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
• Experience of the Oasis Case Management system would be an advantage

This role is subject to DBS check at relevant level.
