Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are working with a leading Manufacturing business in Leeds to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their existing team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Reporting into the Plant Manager, working in a small but busy accounts team duties will include:
- Control of profit and loss and balance sheet
- Calculate and process month end accounting entries
- Plan and coordinate the financial close process
- Prepare and submit monthly accounts in consolidation tool
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of internal audit reports
- Preparation of quarterly vat returns
- Support shared services with accounting queries
- Manage fixed asset process from project tracking to accounting entries
- Support the business through preparation of financial and non financial analysis
