AKTON Recruitment is working closely with the local authorities and we are looking for a Project Coordinator in the Westminster area.

Support needed to develop the pilot phase of the Community Investment Platform- a digital platform promoting community projects to responsible businesses. The role will support with project and charity sourcing, onboarding and campaigns content management on the platform.

To coordinate and facilitate a range of functions, including meetings with One Westminster, community partners, identifying projects to onboard, support the project leads to complete the online forms, sense check the information submitted, activate projects on the platform, update content on project progress.
To raise purchase orders and pay invoices for projects that don't have a donation page (training will be provided)
To present at meetings with the community partners for the "buy in phase" of the platform.
To keep up to date project management records, able to track progress of projects and identify opportunities and risks.

The Project Coordinator will deliver the following initial outcomes by 31st March 2025:

The post holder will work with community organisations and projects from the following sectors:
* Homelessness
* Employment, Skills and Training
* Young People in Care/Leaving Care
* Health & Wellbeing
* Arts & Crafts
* Senior residents
* Environment
* Youth organizations

The Post Holder will:

Build partnerships with key stakeholders including One Westminster, Westminster Networks, Community Department, local community organisations, project leads, videographer and copywriter

1. Lead on engagement with community organisations to guide them on how to complete the online forms and best pitch their projects to businesses.
2. Work closely with all key stakeholders within Westminster community department.
3. Provide targeted support to Westminster City Council projects and assist with the buy in and onboarding process to the platform.
4. Liaise with videographer and project leads for video clips and case study updates.
5. Liaise with copywriter and project leads on project narrative and pitch so that it tells the story to business.
Identifying and developing opportunities
6. Work with One Westminster and Westminster Networks to identify community organisations and projects to be onboarded for the platform.
7. Understand and adapt to our responsible businesses partners priorities and a high-quality service including identifying projects to onboard and match with their requirements.
8. Developing and maintaining professional contact with community organisations and project leads across a range of sectors while managing end to end relationships.
9. Continue to build on the key community groups that the Business Community Partnerships team already works with on donation support via the CIP Bulletin

Monitor and Report
1. Be responsible for collecting and maintaining evidence of outcomes achieved and activity.
2. Provide regular updates on performance and activity, including formal quarterly reporting of platform analytics and dashboards
3. To work with One Westminster and community organisations and its project group to identify the required processes, procedures and structures needed to support this platform through its lifecycle.
4. Respond to general enquiries from partners on issues related to the delivery of the service.
5. Be responsible for coordination and delivering on targets for number of community organisations and projects to be onboarded.

* Who is eager to learn and grow - takes proactive steps to pick up new skills and knowledge.
* Who is able to multitask - we're a programme with many projects on the go and you will need to take direction, manage your time effectively and work across multiple projects at the same time.
* Who likes mixing autonomy and collaboration - you should be able to work by yourself and as part of the team.
Qualifications
* Apprenticeship, Degree level or equivalent work experience, or preferably working towards a relevant sector qualification i.e. project management.
* Evidence of continuous learning or professional development.
