Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to join our team. This is a billing role where you will actively contribute to sales while building and leading a high-performing sales team. You will be instrumental in driving new business growth, developing strategies, and contributing at a board level. This role reports directly to the owner of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Billing Role: Actively engage in sales activities to generate new business opportunities and close deals.
- Team Building: Recruit, train, and retain a talented sales force, fostering a high-energy and results-driven culture.
- Strategy Input: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated with industry trends.
- Reporting: Provide regular sales performance reports and forecasts to the owner and board, highlighting key insights and action plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record in a senior sales role within the FM industry, specifically in selling Soft and Hard FM services and contracts.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team, driving high performance and achieving targets.
- Sales Skills: Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to close deals and generate revenue.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to contribute to the development of sales strategies and implement them effectively.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with a flexible working schedule, balancing remote and office-based work.
