Production Engineer – Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our client based in Coventry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC milling and be proficient in 5-axis offline programming. The candidate should also possess expertise in using CAD/CAM software to create efficient and effective machining processes.

 

Production Engineer – Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimise CNC milling programs for 5-axis machines using CAD/CAM software.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient and accurate machining processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any programme-related issues to maintain production continuity.
• Conduct periodic reviews and adjustments to existing CNC programs to enhance productivity and quality.
• Work closely with the design and engineering teams to interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications.
• Analyse and interpret technical drawings and 3D models to develop CNC milling programs.
• Collaborate with production and design teams to implement efficient machining strategies.

 

Production Engineer – Requirements:

• Proficiency in CNC milling with a focus on 5-axis machining.
• Experience in offline programming for CNC milling machines.
• Proficient in using CAD/CAM software to develop and optimise machining processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

 

Production Engineer – Salary & Benefits:

• £35,000pa - £45,000pa
• Pension
• 39hrs a week
