Elevation Recruitment Groups Skilled Shop Floor division is working with working with a specialist machinery manufacturer in Lincolnshire. We are looking for a time-served Electrician to join the business at an exciting time in their development as they continue to innovate and develop market-leading technology.
Salary: £18 p.h
As an Electrician you will be responsible for wiring PLCs, variable speed drives and complex control systems, carrying out general panel fitting work, which will involve marking out and drilling work
Duties of the Electrician will include:
- Build control panels and electrically assemble complex machinery
- Work on electrical drawings and correct and update as necessary
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and test equipment
- Construct a variety of cable management systems, conduit, cable trays and trunking
- Work on-site on installations in the UK, Europe and sometimes worldwide
- Liaise with our customers and report directly to the Technical Manager
- Deliver high-quality, professional work within planned deadlines and provide excellent customer service
- To complete each job to the highest standards within timescales and costs
- To maximise customer retention rate through excellence in service to the customer
We are keen to speak with Electricians with the following skills/experience:
- Multi-skilled with an electrical bias - at least level 3
- Background in industry with automation/packaging equipment
- Driving licence and Passport
- Customer focus and service skills
- Recognised apprentice-trained trade qualifications
- 18th edition wiring regulations
