Job Title: Occupational Therapist Team Manager.
Responsibilities:
Managing a team of Occupationl Therapists who work with children, adults providing equiptment and adaptation to promote independance and improve their quality of life.
MEAP assess children, adults who have a variety of complex needs, (Physical, neurological, learning disabillity, cognative imparment etc. )
They will manage a team of OT's and who complete both childrens and adults assessments for equiptment and adaptations. They will also need to support the Blue Badge Team and the Moving and Handling Team so quite a broad remit.
The OT TM will have the overall responsibility for;
- Supervising and signing off work for Approx 8 OT's, covering the other OT's during leave.
- The OT TM will lead on non-stock pannel for bespoke equiptment. This includes requests from health colleagues within the the MLCO.
- Major adaptations Panel Lead for the OT cases this sits weekly with, OT, Technical and Ops Lead.
- Open projects relating to childrens, E-Learning training for external OT,s.
