6G TIG WELDER

I am working on behalf of a great client who is currently seeking a skilled 6G TIG Welder to join their ever-expanding workforce. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a reputable and growing company that values quality and precision.
Daily Duties:
- Perform coded welding
- Execute welding in the 6G position
- Weld stainless and carbon steel tubes and plates
- Carry out positional welding on pressure vessels, pressure parts, and superheater pipework
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Confident in 6G TIG welding
- Holds previous qualifications/codings
- Able to pass a weld trade test, which will be x-rayed
- Capable of producing butt welds that pass X-ray, DPI, and MPI inspections
Rate of Pay:
- Initial rate: £16.40 per hour
- Post-coding rate: £17.00 per hour (coding and results will take approximately two to three weeks)
