A new vacancy has arisen for a driven and motivated Technical Coordinator to join a leading housing development business in Devon, due to continued and planned future growth. Specialising in providing new homes and communities throughout the South West, they are now offering you the chance to join them!

 
You will work closely with an experienced technical Manager on 1 -2 sites located in the Exeter & Plymouth areas. As the technical coordinator will be involved in projects from design stage through to post completion. You will manage engineering and working drawing packages with the aim of building homes to a high standard whilst obtaining all necessary technical approvals.

Snap Shot of role:
  • Coordinate the production of layouts and working drawings. Assist in the production of technical reports for Land Appraisals, with supervision.
  • Provide technical support to all internal departments
  • Assist with the appointment of external consultants such as engineers and architects.
  • Coordinate the submission of Planning & Building Regulation Applications and obtain planning permissions and other statutory approvals e.g. S104 and S38 Agreements/satisfy any imposed conditions with the Engineering Design Manager.
  • Prepare/Co-ordinate Conveyance plans, sales area layout drawings etc.
  • Section agreements, S38, S104 adoptions and POS
  • Receive, check and co-ordinate information from external consultants, suppliers consultants, and manufacturers
  • Adhoc need to, produce designs for layouts, house designs etc.
  • Manage the drawing register.
Attributes and experience required:
  • Proven experience working in a similar role
  • Experienced within the house building field
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Good understanding of the planning process
  • Good knowledge of section agreements including 104 & 38
  • Confident in supporting on large sites
  • Organised
  • Commercially aware
  • Strong communicator
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment
  • Driven and self motivated
